Dr. Baksh has been practicing dentistry since 1983 and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba. He strives to introduce new and innovative techniques and technology in the office by discovering new opportunities in continuing education. His motivation is to provide you with the high standard of care that you deserve.
Dr. Baksh practices comprehensive dentistry where he customizes treatment plans and options to your personal needs and priorities. His goal is to give you the best smile you have ever had. Patient comfort is his highest priority. Dr. Baksh brings dentistry to you in a simplified and unique way, with understanding and patience.
Since 2001, Dr. Baksh has received extensive training in a variety of orthodontic treatments including braces. He is a Certified Invisalign® Practitioner. He has also received additional training in dental implants. Dr. Baksh is a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDS).
He is an active member in his community by volunteering at The Ottawa Mission and providing dental services to homeless and those at risk of being homeless in the Ottawa region. His passion for soccer has led him to volunteer in various capacities since 1996, both on the Board of Kanata Soccer as well as coaching youth soccer. Dr. Baksh also continues to enjoy playing soccer with Kanata Soccer, and also enjoys playing hockey and skiing and biking with his family.
Rayhana graduated from McMaster University in 1988 and has been working in the dental field ever since. She's responsible for making sure that all areas of the office are running smoothly. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to talk to her, she loves to chat. Rayhana has always been interested in alternative health therapies and in 2005 she completed Level II CranioSacral Therapy training and now offers CST to patients at Village Green Dental Care.
In her spare time, Rayhana enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer, biking, skiing, yoga and zumba.
Chris Murdoch, Appointment & Accounts Manager
Chris is the friendly voice you hear on the phone. She has been with us since 2000. Chris is a people person and is always ready to answer any questions you may have regarding appointments and treatments. She has strong analytical and organizational skills and is able to effectively handle billing and dental benefits.
Chris grew up in Lancashire, England and emigrated to Canada in 1998 with her husband, Ken and two daughters. Her family has now grown to include grandsons. Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, walking her miniature schnauzer, cooking and gardening.
Harnoop Sandhu, Certified Dental Hygienist
Harnoop is our certified dental hygienist. She is responsible for helping you with your ongoing preventive cleaning appointments and making sure you know what you need to do at home to keep your teeth and gums healthy. She graduated with honors from Oxford College as a Dental Hygienist in 2006. Harnoop was awarded the best clinical award and community participation award. Before becoming a hygienist Harnoop worked in the dental field in various capacities ie dental assistant and receptionist since 2003.
Harnoop is very active in continuing education, is an active member of College of dental hygienists of Ontario, Ontario Dental Hygienists Association and South Asian dental Association.
She enjoys playing basketball, badminton, table tennis, biking and loves travelling with her family and friends.
Erin Nych, Certified Preventive Dental Assistant
Erin is the friendly dental assistant that will escort you into the treatment area and assist Dr. Baksh with your treatment. Erin graduated from Career Canada College in 2003 after completing both Level I and II as a preventive dental assistant.
Erin enjoys weekend getaways, spending time with family and friends and being on the beach or by the water.
